Educational Scholarships Available
College, vocational/self-improvement scholarships up to $22,000 to Dick's employees working 20 hours per week for at least six months and continuing to work at least 20 hours per week while attending school.
Who Qualifies
Employees who have worked for Dick's for at least 6 months may apply year-round.
2013 Graduates qualify after working at Dick's full-time for only 2 months in the summer.
How to Qualify

2013 Graduates must apply for full-time employment at any Dick's location by June 30 & start work by July 7.

2013 graduates must work at Dick's full-time for at least 2 months over the summer. All other employees may apply after working for 6 months.

Student employee participants must continue to work part-time, at least 20 hours a week, at Dick's during the school year.
How it Works

A Dick's scholarship form must be submitted at least two weeks before the first tuition payment is due.

Participants receive $3,000 a year for each of their first 2 years of college, followed by an increased award of $8,000 per year for the last two college years.

Dick's cuts a check directly to the college or university of your choice.

Any Dick's Drive-In location between 1:30pm-3:00pm, Mon.-Thurs.
Childcare Assistance
If an employee doesn't use any or all of their available scholarship funds for tuition, they can use it for childcare. As an extension of our scholarship program, childcare assistance of between $3,000-$8,000 per year is available to employees working 20 hours per week for at least 6 months – and continuing to work at least 20 hours per week while receiving childcare assistance.
